Peony was inspired by its namesake flower, inspiration given while the artist walked around the Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne. The smell of the soil after the rain lingered in the air while she walked slowly, while the faint scent of the flowers wafted by. Colourful peonies all around set the mood while native birds sung their tunes, bringing this design to life.
This silk scarf combines a beige backdrop, taken from the petals of a peony flower, with orange floral accents. Cockatoos are blended in to complete this gentle design.
